Well, it looks like you actually have a couple different questions here. You stated that you have a couple of 6x9's. Yes you can run them just fine off of your Sony radio. The 100 watt rating is just telling you what they can handle. I think that is the rating of most lower-end 6x9's which means your radio will push them just fine. You also ask "Will any amp work with my Sony radio". The answer is Yes. Does your radio have RCA jacks in the back? I am guessing by the Wattage rating that your radio is kind of old. More than likely there will be 2 round plugs either side-by side, or on top of one another. If your radio has those (or four of them) then you can run those to your amps for the signal to reach them. If not, you will have to splice into your rear speaker wires(depending on where your amp is) and purchase a line output adapter, or you may have an amp with speaker level or High-level inputs. If you have any questions about this, you can email me at cbpldc@team.camaroz28.com

Look at your amp. It will have terminals for Battery, Remote, Ground and RCA's.

What you have to do is buy an amp installation kit which basically has EVERYthing you need to install an amp.

The RCA cables will plug into the back of your radio where you saw the RCA Jacks.

The Installation kit will come with some Red Power Wire, you have to unplug your battery and run one end of the cable from the + terminal of the battery all the way through the firewall, under the carpet and back to where your amp is.

The Installation Kit will also come with Blue Remote wire. Now, you said you saw the RCA Jacks in the back of the radio... did you happen to see a blue wire that wasnt plugged into anything? well if you havent, look closer... Then take the Blue Remote wire from the kit, and run it from the back of the Blue wire on your radio all the way back to the amp just like the RCA's.

And last but not least, the Ground Cable. It should be a Black Cable about 3 ft long. This is quite easy. Find anything that is metal (some say the chassis of the car is best) but i used the metal panel next to my spare tire. Anyway, Find metal.. drill a hole through it.. TAKE SAND PAPER AND SAND THE AREA AROUND THE HOLE TO A BEAR METAL CONTACT and drill one end of the cable down to the metal and the other end hooks into the amp.

Once your done all that.. just hook up the speaker wire from your speakers, to the amp and you'll be bumping
