Twisted Pair Speaker Wires

What are your thoughts on Twisted Pair speaker wire? Is it worth the extra money? Does it really make that much of an audible difference? It says that they dramatically reduce noise with something to do with 'gamma' what the heck is that?!

Twisted pair wires are typically used to help eliminate noise from low level DC signals in instrumention wiring. Audio signals large enough to drive speakers are neither DC or considered low level signals.

Put your money to better use elsewhere in your system.
