where would be the best place for port-tube?

where would be the best place for port-tube?
i'm gonna be running a AudioBahn Alum 10" sub at about 300-400 watts. Where would be the best place to put the port tube?
it's a 17" wide, 9" tall, 12"width box

or 17.5 inch wide... and don't laugh at the picture! haha, i made it in 2 minutes in paintshop to give you guys an idea of what it looks like....thank you.
