yo guys, i just upgraded my sub amp and now i need to get new subs
i bought a 2001 Rockford Fosgate Power 500.2, its about 500w rms x1, so about 1000w peak at 4ohms, what i want to know is, wut would sound better for the type of muzik i listen too, rap and rap only, 3 JL W310s each one at 6ohms, so when i wired them i would get a 4ohm load, or 2 JL 12W3 both 4ohms so i could get a 4ohm load

what would hit the hardest? and sound the best for the muzik i like? thanks for any info

 

I don't know a ton about stereo stuff but, for rap if you have the 12's the will hit a little deeper which would be good for rap. just what I have heard

 

I have 2 of those tens and I don't listen to rap. I would definatly go with the twelves. THey hit hard but no real deep boom to them like a tweleve will make . I would definatly go with the 12's
