pioneer subs

I am looking at getting 2 12" pioneer subs with a max of 600 watts. I am planning on putting them in a sealed box. Should I get 12" or 10"? Will 12" be too much for an 87 firebird formula?

Sub size won't make nearly as much of a difference in output as amplifier power. Too much only matters if there's a monkey in your car turning it up farther than you want it to go. The rest of the time it's just how you want it, so buy based on sound quality as long as 10" will be sufficient.
