My ? was does anyone have a 1-15'' setup with pics so i can see how the sub was placed? I think i am going to go with the mtx rfl 15 that holds 4000 watts WOW!

How much weight do you think you're going to save by going from 2 subs (what size??) to a single 15"? If your 2 subs are 10s or 12s, your overall weight savings will be no more than a couple pounds. Most 15s need a big box, which requires a lot of internal bracing, plus the sub itself is going to be very heavy.

Well right now with my box and amps and subs my box weights over 250 pounds and when I do take it out there is a noticeable difference in performance. Then the fact that it takes up all of my cargo area in the back and I would like to be able to store things back there. I just wanted to make things alittle smaller and simpler without losing much spl... does this make any difference in your reply's ? thanks

Nope. Most 15s that I've seen require 2.5 or more cubic feet, so your box isn't going to get any smaller, so the only weight savings you'll have is purely in sub weight, which won't be enough to warrant the expense.

If you like music don't buy the RFL. And Jims right unless you build a fiberglass box you won't save much in weight.

yeah, the rfl is not made for music, just burps for spl competition. stay away if its a daily driver. you will not save any space and weight is negligable. so stick with the 12s.
