Got new subs......

got a smokin deal on some MB Quart Reference 12s, $315 for 2 of em, it was a 2 for 1 deal, have u guys heard them at all? the guy at the store said they are as good as if not better than JL 12W3s

sounds like adeal man, I've never heard them but I've heard that the w3's are good, I'm getting those in a month or two. what kinda amp are you gonna run to em too? also once you get em installed post pics!

im gonna run a 2001 Rockford Fosgate Power 500.2, 1000w peak hehe ill definatly post pics of my install, im gonna do it with fiberglass, so it will prolly be a lil bit, gotta finish payin for the stuff, i owe the audio store $500 lol

I've never heard the quart subs, but in general Quarts are very good speakers.

If you're looking for SPL then the JL's were a better choice, but the MBQ's are a top Sound Quality sub and if you are looking that then you'll be very happy...

lol he said they would pound with my new amp, there a good match, he has one of the tens in his truck, thats y he says they are as good as the JL w3s, thats alot to say but, for a $315 price tag for one compared to a $200 price tag, its belevable
