well BUDDY,

I was hoping if you could take the time and tell me if my Kicker Comp C10's will sound ok in Truck Boxes that are 1.66 cubic feet per sub????

-DAMN CAMARO died, bought a 98 F-150... doesnt mean i DONT NEED a system!!!!

I think Kicker recommends something like 1.25 ft3 for the c10s. Ill bet they would do alright in 1.6. Probably hit the low stuff a little better.

yea i was thinking the box would hit the low stuff a bit better if it was deeper!

I agree with Joe. Most manufacturers give box reccomendations that are a little on the small side. Going a little bigger will usually result in a better sounding sub, and as long as you don't go real big, power handling shouldn't suffer.

Ahhh Jim. I was waiting for the wise one to reply!

so all in all, you think the boxes will sound ok? Im actually lookin for some lower bass... which im hoping i get out of the larger box!

anyone else? where the **** is polecat? haha

I'm here...! Been out and busy for the last couple of days. Our woofers will be fine. In the specs we give a + or - 20%. So that will be fine. Nothing wrong with a Ford truck....transportation right?
