Alarm suggestions
It seems this SFC project has grown into a 'fix everything' project. I'm rewiring everything right now. Currently my alarm. The radar is going right under the console, I think I'll leave the pain generator siren in the dash, but I'm not so sure about the impact or glass break sensors. Where did you mount your input microphone for the glassbreak? Where exactly did you put the brain? Hopefully have a few suggestions by morning...thanks.
Oh yeah, also, I need to mount my cap somewhere. My amp is in my back seat, and I'd like to hide the cap somewhere close to that. Anyone?

well you can mount the speakers/mics in the door(would think they would be best there...more sound amplifacation inside the door)... Run the wires through the front of the door. And if you want a good anti thieft heres a good trick...Though you will have to sacrifice the lighter.
1. The cigarette lighter. Remove the power(remember to cap off the wire) and the ground from it.
2. Run the ground wire for the coil pack inside the car to the cigarette lighter.
3. Place 1 wire to the power side of the lighter. Place the other to the ground of the lighter.
4. Now with the wires hooked like that the only way the car can start is by having the lighter in the slot and pushed in.
Don't worry about it poping out, with the lack of heat generated it won't pop. That's what makes it pop out anyway so... have fun with the new starter key to your car.!!!

I was just about to try the cigarette lighter thing when I remembered my radar detector. I don't really want to hard-wire it in, so I guess I'll skip that for now. I have a starter kill switch on my alarm anyways.
