I'd like to keep this amp because it was $500, it's a "class D" subwoofer amp. what is class D operation anyways? I know of A,B,AB,C never heard of D. is this amp really made for quality sound or is it just made for the purpose of putting "thump in the trunk" at the cost of fidelity? I was under the impression that it has hi-fi circuitry with power to spare. what sub setup would work best with this amp and the thirdgen acoustics??
