Ok i'm getting a pair of alpine 6x9's and a pair of alpine 4x6 plates for 120 bucks. The 6x9s are there 3 ways. You guys think it will sound good in the car? I listened to them in the store and i liked how they sounded but i know its always different in the car and in the store.

 

It depends how you want like you "sound". Three ways usually supply some bass and i bought some three ways and had to buy bass blockers for them. If you want your subs to supply all the bass then i would suggest not to get 3 ways or if you do to put some blockers on them. Alpine has some good highs so you can't go wrong with them. I don't like my bass to drown out my treble so that's why i put blockers on them. Are you going to run them off an amp or off the deck?

 

all i can say about my alpine 3 way 6x9s is that they are f*ckin loud lol, and they are just runnin off my alpine deck, they are about 5 years old, so the new ones would sound better, be more bassy

 

By the way guys i got a 6 disc alpine cd changer and its an mbus i'm just wondering if alpine makes any good tape deck hu that are mbus and sound good and have controls for your preouts.
