I bought a car, switched interiors, now on the parts car, the factory cd says "loc" how do I unlock it? I need to know because I want to sell this car.

Ok, i looked in my 92 bonneville SSEi book and its a lot more complex then the mute button In my dads 95 Aurora book there is a code for the system.

Ok here is what my Pontiac book says...
Press the 1 and 4 button together for 5 sec with ignition on and the radio off. Press the SET button. The display will show "000" You set the using the lower **** or the band ****. Then you press in the **** to enter it. If the display shows --- the it was the right code, for the wrong it will display "SEC". Also use the seek button for entering the code.
If you dont know the code u may be screwed, but mabey not. Try 000 that is the defualt code i believe, good luck
PS: this is for the Loc II system, i have no idea what they used in '91

I got ahold of a manual, it is very similar to the way you described it, but 000 does not work. I don't know the code and neither does the previous owner bc he never had battery problems. The manual says if you forget the code, contact your dealer so I will have to call them tomorrow. thanks a bunch.
