rattles from the 6x9's....

rattles from the 6x9's....

What can I do about this? I don't think it's the speakers themselves but the grill around them I think are hitting the walls. Do you use dynomat for something like this?

yup I did, I also put in a new foam basket behind it. you can get em from crutchfield. they are actually called baffles, like $10 worth the money.

Check the plate that the 6x9's mounted to. The screws tend to vibrate loose and causes the plate to rattle against the body of the car. Just tighten them up and that should stop it.
