Need connector help!!!!!

I'm replacing my factory speakers with Kevlar speakers but I don't want to cut off the factory connector on the end of the harness that plug into the factory speakers.

Does anybody make a connector I can put on the aftermarket speakers that will me just plug them into the factory harness???????

What kind of kevlar speakers are you getting? Focal polykevlars? If that's what you're getting, they're supposted to be absolutly awesome speakers. But I guess you know that if you're getting them. Wait, I don't think they make 4x6's if you're going for a factory replacement...so what kind of speakers are you getting?

Scotch Locks. Wal Mart, K-Mart, whatever. Couple bucks a package.

These wrap around the wire, then you crimp them closed with pliers. Then you just connect a flat male disconnect terminal to it.

I found some connectors at Circut City.

Yes they are polykevlars. I have one more question though. How many watts could the factory 6x9's handle???? They seem very decent when I take them out and look at them. I ask because I hooked up my new 6x9's and it seems like they don't handle the power as well as the factory one's. My new one's are 50 watts RMS and 120 max. I thinking the factory one's must have been like 75 watts RMS or something.....

If you're putting something in as high up as polykevlars, why are you worried about how much power your rears can take? Just asking, because I thought that your rear speakers should be pretty low compared to your fronts, so they shouldn't really have to take alot of power. What size polykevlars are you putting in? (your dash?) Oh and what amp are you using? Just asking all this cause I like to hear about high end systems in thirdgens

The dash speakers are going to be 50 watts RMS too. I'm not using an amp, just a 35x4 deck. BTW, I like to have about 65% of the sound on the rears and the other 35% on the front because I drive with my seat pretty far back....

I don't want a big system, just somthing a little better than factory that will last.
