Amp going to caution!?!?!?!?!

OK a while back my amp just stopped working. I dunno WTF happened to it but it just all of the sudden switched to caution. So I tried messing around with the wiring in my car to help. Still nothing. Well I figured maybe it was too hot so I let it cool down for a while....then a week... then a month. Well it still doesn't work so I desided maybe it was the wires grounding out in my car. Next I desided since my cousin has a system in her truck I would just swap amps seeing as how her wires are ran good. So i tryed that and still as soon as I cut on the radio it switches straight to the red light. It is a Boss 1000 watt amp 250wx4ch So anyway This sucks and I can't do anything with it, It's a freakin Paper Weight. Can someone please help me in repairing it.

Thanks, Hektyk

I personally wouldn't. If it is out of warranty, and the dealer doesn't want to help you. Look for another amp, and maybe one a little better built for what you plan on doing with it. Stick with name brands and I think you'll be better off.

Good luck.

This happend once with the pioneer amp that got stolen. Try wiggling the rca connectors that was my problem everything internally was fine the stupid rca connector was loose.
Also you might want to take it to a shop and see if they will try it on one of thier wire setups to make sure.
