I am sure that you want an "inexpensive" deck, right? That's what you mean by used?
I got a reconditioned JVC El Kameleon for $160. It has a 90 day warranty and normally retails (I saw it in Crutchfield) for $279.
It has been great. Another guy on here got the same deck for ~$140 about 2 weeks after me.
But that's how auctions go.
Good luck
AJ
EDIT: BTW, I just wanted to make sure that you knew that the deck was reconditioned by JVC. There are many companies that exchange the broken units for new ones to the original owners. Then they fix the broken ones and put them on ubid.com just like you and I would put stuff on EBay.

Either buy from someone you trust, go to a pawn shop, or look for one of those clearance sales where a store is trying to push previously owned merchandise.
This way if your stuff doesn't work you have a decent chance of getting your money back.
IMO used car audio stuff is something I would be real skittish about paying for without seeing it work first.
