i will brdge it and use either a jl 10w6 or kicker XPL C-series 10. is this a decent amp?

Yes that amp will power it fine.It will put close to 280 watts mono into that sub, and between the two, get the XPL 10". We sell quit a few of them and it will be a tad louder with that power.
