Well, the Pioneer CD player is installed now in my black '88 Notchback GTA and is working well. It is the Pioneer DEH-P77DH model.... the direct-fit GM/Chrysler unit with remote control. It works extremely well.... with no kind of odd behavior as alluded to in other recent posts on this board. I highly recommend it to those out there who are wanting to swap to a GM-sized CD player.

The PAC steering wheel control interface unit is still giving me fits; every time you shut off the key, it loses the programmed memory. PAC wants me to send it back to them for inspection; after a long phone call, they have said I had it installed correctly and are at a loss as to why the unit is acting as such.

They have also told me there is now an updated model of this interface available, and they want me to test it for them in one of my GTAs. So I will post the results of this new unit as soon as I have it and it is installed in my car.

If anybody here has one of these PAC units installed and it is working correctly, please post your experiences.
