Question about the square kicker L7's???
Question about the square kicker L7's???
ok, i have one 12 now and want to get another one. however, i heard there is the 2ohm and 4ohm. are they two different subs? or is it just the way you wire it? if it is 2 different subs, how can i tell which on i have now in order to get the same one when i get the second one? thanks.
I do believe they're two different subs. You might be able to wire it so that you match the ohms though. On my Kicker CompVR's, the ohms are printed on the back of the sub, near the terminals, so I'd imagine the same is with yours. Just gotta pull it out and look at the back of it.

Yes we sell them in DVC 2 ohm and DVC 4 ohm woofers. So if you have a single woofer, you have a certain way you can wire it, like if you have a DVC 2ohm woofer, you can give your amp a 1 or 4 ohm load. If you have a DVC 4 ohm woofer, you can let it see a 2 or 8ohm load.
Now if you have two woofers, they are:
DVC 2's 2 or 8 ohm load
DVC 4's 1 or 4ohm load
Now if you have two woofers, they are:
DVC 2's 2 or 8 ohm load
DVC 4's 1 or 4ohm load
