ROFLMAO!!!

Honestly, what is your question...if it's about the wire between the two RCA's it's one of two potential things depending on what gauge it is.

If it's really thin, it's likely a ground reference to "aid" in noise elimination...if it's a thicker gauge (16 or 18) then it may be a remote turn on lead as some companies do that.

I still like the Paper Plate answer though

"A Man With A Rubber Glove!" -sean connery celebrity jeopardy..

ok, well, i mean, its kinda one of those Brain farts..
you know what it is, but you look at it and its like..... "wow...." -keanu reeves...
now, anyways, its a ground, because, damn, well.... its got a spade, and a open wire on the other end..
i figured hell, Ground, but then what, ground it right on the amp in the same terminal, and i thought it might cause interference, but then i thought more, and then i thought if its remote with DC wouldnt That cause interference?
so then i started going nuts....

if its ground because of spade, GOOD. because then ill run remote lead up the right side with power...

OH and question... will running rcas KIND of near the fuse box be bad? theyre triple shielded but still....

Oh, And nother question...
What kind of paper plate, ?

LOL...

By the looks of it, I would say Arrow maybe?

If it has a spade, it's most likely a ground reference for the signal wire. Most of the time it doesn't do jack though.

I believe that wire is your remote wire. They do this for convience and less mess. It shouldn't cause interference because there isn't enought amerage going through the wire.

]Well I do beleive it could be a remote wire yet rule1 is dont put power wires and speaker wires togather. Right?
Yet rule2 is ground the amp to the closest best place possible. Right?
Confused
What brand of RCA's are they? Im sure that a remote wire could be used in the rca's if there was shielding. It looks like there is some sort of tinfoil shiled in the wires so who knows.

DO NOT use that wire to ground the amp as it appears that is the way you are refering to it. Remember you still need to ground your amp to the nearest chassis point with at least equal gauge wire to your power wire.

Generally ground reference wires are not used at all if that's what it is. Some wire manufacturers claim that you can attach this wire to your amps ground and the other end to your head units ground and that this is supposed to help eliminate noise problems. I have yet to ever see that work.

If it's a remote wire (usually not black though) then it's a very thin one. Usually a remote wire is primary wire at 16-18awg..that wire looks more like 20-22awg to me.

Who knows, since I don't follow Audiobahn much, I would send an e-mail to them asking them what it was intended for.
