Tell me what you think about the stereo I plan on buying
I am looking into buying a stereo for my car. I listen to just about every type of music therefor I figured I would spend a little extra on my subs. There is this flea market around my house where the guy gives me really good deals. He knows me through other people who always go there...and since I have been bringing him business he is going to hook me up. So here is what I plan on buying: a Pioneer DEH-P730 deck($290-300), 2 12" Infinity Perfects(somewhere around $350 for both-meanwhile sold retail they are around $300), a sealed custom box($100), then I am going to look at Infinity 4X6's and 6X9's. I heard that infinity is one of the best stereo brands out there...so I figured I would be safe getting a full Infinity system. I havent decided on what series speakers to get. Should I go with the Kappa series or the Reference series??? Oh yea I almost forgot...he is giving me a 1400 watt amp for like $350. What do you think? Should I get another small amp to push my speakers??? Let me know. I think Infinity sounds great. My friend has thier speakers in his stang and they sound incredible. My cousin has the reference subs in his altima...and they hit really good. But I want to go for the top of the line Infinity. Im open to any opinions and suggestions. Thanks.

Flea market stereo system. I remember those.
I'm not sure that anything I say is going to convince you not to buy from a flea market vendor, so I'm not going to waste my time trying. But just cross your fingers every night that nothing blows because you won't be getting any warranty work done at an authorized repair center.
Anyway, I'd find out what brand this 1400 watt $350 amp is. $350 in the real world gets you a nice 50x2 amp, not a 1400 watt amp. My guess is that it's a Boss, Legacy, Pyramid, Kenford, Rockwood, Profile, Urban, Crunch or some other worthless paperweight brand.

no....he owns a reputable stereo store....and this is his "warehose" sort of kind of. I trust the guy....b/c i know of people who went back b/c they were unhappy with the quality of mtx thunders.....it was 3 months after the guy bought them....and he replaced them no problem. The stuff they sell is gauranteed & warranteed....believe me I made sure. His local store does the installlation. They are a well known store around long island....many people just dont know about his flea market shop and how he is connected through the 2 stores. Thanks for looking out...but I looked over everything. So what do you think about Infinity? What about the deck?
