i have a sony 100x2 watt amp pushing my 6x9's, and the other day i was driving and had them cranked up pretty good, and they just shut off,i looked on the amp and the red light was lite up,saying that it was "over current" or somethin like that, i dont know what to do, they are pushing pioneer's, and also have my 202a amp running off the output of my sony that is pushing my perfects, thanks.

p.s i was wondering if you would build me a box, i have a few things we might be able to work out somehow on a trade or something, if so, please let me know, it would be for my 2 10" kappa perfects. thanks.

 

Did the amp come back on after a while or is it still off? If it's still off, then unhook the speakers and see what it does. You either sent it into protection mode by overdriving it or by a short in the speakers, or you cooked the amp.

I'm not sure what you've got to trade, but unless it's a posi rear, I'm not sure I need it. Email me and we can discuss it.
