stock wiring
My (stock) stereo doesn't have the constant power for memory connected. The plugs fit but have different color wires where it's been spliced. The constant power is just hanging where does it go on the plug. the there is no extra wires from the plug to put the constant hot to. so i'm lost.

Just connect the wire into anything that gets a constant 12v from the battery. The fuse block is probably your best bet.
