Speaker Cable

What type of wiring would be best to run from the front of the car to power 2 12's and a 600 watt amp.

Car: 85 IROC-Z / 88 GTA
Engine: 403 LSx (Pending) / 355 Tuned Port
Transmission: T56 Magnum (Pending) / T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 / ?
What kind of amp? Boss makes a 600 watt amp that would work just fine with 10 gauge, but if it says Kicker or Rockford on it, 4 gauge or bigger is in order. What size fuse is on the amp?

it's just a 600 watt kenwood and it has 2 20 fuses on it

8 gauge will do.
