Yea, you can wire them into your car, with one huge problem.. WTF man, home speakers in your car.. Well I guess if you dont leave them in the original box. You're alright.

It will work fine in the original box or not as long as it fits in your car. Most home stereo speakers are wired at 8 ohms, so your amp won't have a problem with them.

hes right about the 8ohm thing, your car is typically 4ohm, but subs are a choice thing(1,2,3,4,6,8ohm you name it you can get it throught different wiring). My guess is that there is quite a compicated crossoversystem inside of that house box, ad if you pulled the speakers out seperate, namely the subs w/o a low pass crossover its gonna sound like but. :P on the back of all of the speakers it should say the ohm rating. if you dont know what ohms are ask me.
out.

Years ago I used to have Bose 301's in the back seat (6 ohms). They sounded great. So, for a temporary solution I say go for it.

lol..... i just imagine, hatch opens, speaker towers just fold up into the air.....
yea, cept i think the wattage might differ tween home and car audio.....
other than that. nope, just beware of underpowering them, and.... well, whatever else in your trunk,
