concert sound
i just went to the reo speed wagon/styx concert in the quad cities last night and it rocked. the bass was so loud but yet i could here every note on the guitar and the vocals as well. can someone give opinons on what settup i should go with for this kinda of sound. i want the loudest bass but cleanest sound so i can still hear the words and guitar. my buddy has two 12" kicker comp vrs and i cant hear anything but bass. plus a good head unit to go with it all in the 5-700 dollar range. thanx
For good overall sound 12" subs are nice if done rith they have just the right amount of base for any music. You will need some good midrange and tweeter combo's for the lows and hights and then the subs. Mine is just right with a EQ I can adjust to fit any style music. This is what I have it has lasted about 6yrs.
"Componets Pictured are 4 lanzar amps, 12 disk changer, crossover, and 2 12" subs. Not pictured are Eclipse head unit with clarion 7band eq. 2 4*6 pioneer speakers, and a custom midrange set up including the following: lanzar tweaters, 2 4" and 2 6" midrange's."
