I will be running all four voice coils in mono.. thats all four in parallel with each other @ 1 ohm...
I have my eye on the bd1000.1 from RF, but dont know how it will like the 1 ohm. I know sony advertises their 1000 watt amps run their best at 1 ohm, Im just curious if rf does to, but doesnt advertise it.
Will it shut itself off?

What other amps do you suggest?

Sony amps will run at 1 ohm, for somewhere between 5 and 8 minutes.

If you insist on running such a low impedance, check the Rockford Power series amps or the higher end Kicker amps (I forget what they call that line right now).

doing a series/parallel configuration will give you a 4 ohm load which will give you a lot more amp choices if you're looking to save money. If you want 1 ohm bridged, you need to shell out the money for an amp that can handle it.

cant u wire those 2-HE2's so that they running in 2ohms and still run all 4 voice coils, they have a wire wizard on RF's website. what doe they require rms per voice coil?
