Wiring HU from scratch, where does the Yellow Go?

The Red wire goes to the fuse box, the black is ground, the blue is remote, and the yellow goes where exactly? Whoever had the car before me was an electrical yuppie and acted like he was playing with christmas lights. So I've completely rewiring my stereo as I put my new stuff in. But I just don't know what the yellow, specifically connects to.

I believe yellow is illumination. I could be wrong. Check it with a test light.

Red - Switched Power
YELLOW - CONSTANT POWER (MEMORY)
Black - Ground
Blue - Remote/Antenna

These 4 are standard across all aftermarket decks.

Orange is generally illumination or dimmer

Most manufacturers have moved to standard color for speaker wires as well...

White / White/Black - Left Front
Gray / Gray/Black - Right Front
Purple / Purple/Black - Right Rear
Green / Green/Black - Left Rear

I'm aware the yellow is memory.

Where does the yellow wire from the deck hook up to? And am I wrong saying the red goes to the fuse box?

Red goes to any power source that is on when the car is on. The factory fuse location for the radio is a switched power source if I'm not mistaken. The yellow goes to any constand source of power (i.e. directly to the battery) or any other source that is on weather the key is on or off.

I would strongly recomend using a test light or volt meter to find these sources. Also do not tap into other circuits (i.e. lighting, etc...) that may already be at their proper fuse rating. Try to use the original radio circuit if you can.
