6x9's in sail panels
6x9's in sail panels
I took a peek at my 6x9's yesterday and I was kinda suprised to see some sort of enclosure made out of a sound deadening material behind them. Is this something that the previous owner did because I don't remember seeing this stuff on my 88 bird.

That stuff is good leave it in there, GM started putting it in 88+ F-Bodys to deaden road noise/body rattles from the sound system. I have tried my 6x9's with and without them, it's better with them but to each his own. Just be careful removing them because there hard to come by and ne from GM there $75 each.(for that stuff its crazy)
