I can't find anyone to buy a head unit and a couple of speakers from. Every place doesnt have their prices listed, or you have to buy their 100 wiring harness, and their 200 dollar installation, etc... I just want to pick up a head unit, two 6x9's, two 4x6's and a 10-12 disc CD channger. I am not looking for the best, but want something that works. I blew 2500 before in a system and had the whoel thing stolen, so I am a bit gun shy lol Especially havinng a convertible. Any ideas? Maybe online dealers? just dont want to do the install by myself lol

You could try Wal-mart. They usually carry the middle-of-the-road sterios and speakers from several major brands. (Sony, Pioneer, Audiovox, etc) Crutchfield.com has pretty good prices for speakers, coupled with the master sheets that they send with the speakers which show how to put them in, and matching wiring harnesses. Their prices for head units, however, are a little high for my taste. Fortunatly for me, I have found a reputible local sterio shop with rock-bottom prices! If you live in the Jacksonville/Orange Park, Florida area, that is.

 

I am selling my Alpine CD Headunit and 12 CD Changer for $300.
Head is CDA-7832 few years old put plays great, has 3 sets of RCA outputs, 2 remotes, 35x4, 4v pre-outs, was $679 new.
Changer is CHA-1204, was $425 new. I want to get something different to put into my car.
