Wiring two amps........

hey guys i'm by no means an idiot when it comes to car stereo, even though this is pretty basic, but since i have yet to install two amps in a car, i have no clue how to do so. wiring one amp is simple, but with the second amp i was wondering if you'd have to use a new power wire, a new ground, a new wire to the antenna. isn't there something like a distribution block i can use? i have no clue how those work. as you can tell im stuck on this right now, and i need to put in my rockford amp and then buy a two channel sub amp from someone. ive got one last question, how come when i go to buy amp installation kits in local stores they cost upwards of 100 dollars for the monster cable 4-8 gauge kit but the rockford fosgate kit (and others in the crutchfields) with 4-8 gauge wires and patch cords only costs about 60 dollars. is there something about the amp kits in the crutchfield or are the amp kits in my local stores a rip off? thanks

well, for recommendations ..... use a new power wire, and new fuse. new ground point also. Be safe, if you use 1 wire, and down the road wanna upgrade .. THEN .... your gonna be stressing for power from one wire. If you use 1 wire .. you can use a distrobution block, but use thick wire between the battery and block ex 4 guage. You can run the remote wire from one amp to the other, that wont matter .. however, i had a problem of my amps not turning off, and running 2 wires from my headunit fixed it. thats just my $.02 of advice.

go with monster wire or peonix gold. They are the best wires ive used.
