really dude, wut i would do is get one 4 channel amp, for all your speakers, prolly somethin like 75wx4 RMS so that means a 400x4 amp would be really good, then u can buy a single JL AUDIO 10inch sub in a truck box at one of your local dealers and it should fit in the well in your trunk, depending on wut kind of sub u get, the shop will recommend the right amp for it, if u do get 2 amps, buy 4 gauge power and ground wire, then u need to get a distribution block for the power cable, and get 12 gauge speaker wire for your sub, and for your mid range speakers (4x6s/6x9s) i would recommend buying 14 gauge speaker wire, and rewiring all your speakers, i think that u will be really happy with what i have told u, its almost what i have it it sounds really good, except i have more speakers, and 2 JL 12s in a custom fiberglass box that i made, and JL Audio 5¼" 2 way speakers in custom door panels that i made, i run the JL subs of an MTX amp, and the JL comp. speakers of a lightning audio amp, and the other speakers off my deck, but i need to get 3 amps or my car, well actually 4 total, all JL AUDIO amps, they make really good amps, but they come with a price tag, the mono sub amp i want, 500w/1 for about $600 but its worth it

I LOVE the 5 Channel I have (MTX 5400X), works great for a medium system, not extreme like some of my other stuff but great for simplicity... I have also sold a few and heard many a good thing about the kicker impulse IX405D...
I would say the main big thing is to get a lower power rated dual 4 ohm voice coil sub, so that the amp sees a two ohm load into the class D sub channel, and puts the correct amount of power to the sub. I use a Phoenix Gold XS-10" DVC, and this setup hit 127.3 DB! Alot louder than I would have guess, it's more setup for SQ..
