factory amp question
factory amp question
ok, I am gunna guess a big old no, but is it possible to keep the factory amp and subwoofer switch on the dash to work with an aftermarket headunit? I have a pretty decent pioneer, I think it was about 400 new like a year an a half ago. I am wonderin if there is any special wiring, and if there is how big of a pain in the @$$ is it gunna be?? thanks for the help

If you run just subs off of an amp, and the other four off of the head unit, then just hook the switch up to the remote wire. I don't know how the stock switch works, but, you can replace it with a regular switch if you need to.
Hope that helps.
