Yeah I think so too, timeless.

Portishead is a trip-hop band from England, so whats trip-hop?
Its kind of like abstract hip-hop beats well blended with some soulful vocals, some guitar, and a little turtablism, thats it in a nutshell but the best way I can describe it, they havent had anything new since the mid-nineties but I find obscure mixes on Soulseek all the time.

And to 2.73's suck, I have alot of rare stuff, if your interested email me, I'll hook you up.

I've been listening to metallica my whole life, the new CD is ****. It's nothing like they used to be, there is no guitar solo's, the guitar line is very weak in every damn song and lars' snare drum being out of tune sounds like a symbol. It's not the same band and the music is completely different. Metallica is dead because they want to try and conform to new trends and be a different kind of music, and get new fans and more money. No I'm not accusing them of "selling out" I'm accusing them of changing their music and leaving their old fans behind.

see the problem with this list is there is a huge difference depending on whether it is a cruise on the strip or long distance.

For Cruise on the Strip

5 - Twiztid with ICP "Rock the Dead"
4 - Spineshank "Height of Callousness"
3 - Twiztid with ICP "Spin the Bottle"
2 - Korn with Fred Durst "All in the Family"
1 - Vanilla Ice "Ice Ice Baby" (trust me you get laughs till you peel out and leave tire marks hehehe)

For Long Distance

5 - Bob Seger "Turn the Page"
4 - Metallica "Wherever I may roam"
3 - Sublime "What I got"
2 - Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven"
1 - ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE FOR LONG TRIPS
KANSAS "DUST IN THE WIND"

Truly kick a$$ songs to listen to

1. Master of Puppets-Metallica
2. Take No Prisoners-Megadeth
3. Reign in Blood-Slayer
4. NIght of the Stormrider-Iced Earth
5. Tornado of Souls-Megadeth

People saying rap is music can listen to this: it isn't music. Anybody can play the same drums on a drum pad that have one beat for about five second. And anybody can drive around in an Escalade with 20 inch wheels and have FUBU on their shirts with a bandaid on their nose. You cannot however just pick up a guitar and decide you want to play at 200 beats per minute and have a constantly changing song. Oh and also, everyone in the music group should be playing an instrument.

rap

Ok, I'll admit there are a few rap songs that I listen to, but they're on CDs made by metal bands i.e. "One Bullet Left" - Six Feet Under feat. Ice T; "Back the **** Up" - Fear Factory feat. Cypress Hill. That's it.

And to all the white guys just to be stereotypical, if you call it that, GET A CLUE YOU'RE ****ING WHITE!!!!!!!!!

Guys...This post is called "Your Top 5 Tunes" not "What do you think of everyone else's music selections?"

I've seen threads like this get closed for less, lets not let that happen please. I think this is a cool thread!
