Thank you all for your business over the past year. I have sold nearly 30 sets of my Kickpanels since starting Sexay Customs last July.
Your business has allowed me to finally achieve a dream I've had for several years: To own a top notch system, and compete on a National level.
Well, the system is done, and I leave Wed. morning for Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach FL. Now while I have great gear, it is a DIY install, and despite my moderate skills, I am not a pro level installer, so I am expecting to get my butt whooped! But that's ok, as it will teach me what areas I have to work on for the next show.
Again, thanks guys, and if any of you are gonna happen to be at the show, come look for me and have a listen to the car.
I'll be taking a break from the car and making things after the show, and I need to do a major garage cleanup. So mid april is when I'll start up the kickpanels again.

I think, in celebration, the first person to reply to this thread with the word "Azure" in their name should recieve a free set of DJ Sexay kicks, as I'm sure anyone with the name "Azure" (or similar) is a poor college boy with a humble audio setup that could use an upgrade..............or not.
Congrats on the success, I'm sure I'll be contributing to it one day or another....

Good luck, and remember all of us little guys in your acceptance speech!
Mike,
I need to drop you an email with my cell number so we can catch up if I miss you in the lanes.
Regarding Daytona...
I forget if you are doing street or ultimate, but if you are in the street class, don't fret the install. If it is solid and everything is safe and secure, then just drill on tweak and tune for the SQ portion.
The first year I did that show, I left my car with Eric from Image Dynamics for about 4 hours straight of tweaking and tuning. It ended up giving me a 3rd at my first national level show and it was well worth the 1400 mile each way drive I did that year. And the install was only finished the day we left Houston for the show.
Just remember to have a good time. Don't spend so much time fussing over the car. Get it tuned as best you can, run it through the lanes, open it up for spectators and just have a good time...go watch the installer challange
We'll be driving up Friday night so I'll catch up with you sometime Saturday or Sunday as I'm doing my pictures for the site...go get some lunch or something.
L8r and good luck...

Carl,
I plan to have my car on display as much as possible on Saturday. I go through the lanes on Sunday.
With the install, I definatly have some cosmetic issues, but it's my tuning and tweeter angles that I'm now worried about.
See ya there!

If you are being judged on Sunday, you won't be able to display your car on Saturday. The display area is reserved for those who are judged on that day. Saturday you will either have to have a tweak and tune pass from a manufacturer or a competitors pass showing judging on that day or else park in the parking garage away from the show. They won't let you into the display parking lot for any other reason (You'll understand why when you get there)
Mike I wish you the best of luck. I know you've worked hard on your car to get it ready and I'm sure you'll do really well. If you drink Coffee don't drink very much. I'm sure you'll be nervous enough as it is and we want to see some good steady pics.
Have a good time!

IT'S NOT YOUR BIRTHDAY, BUT GO ANYWAY!!!
Have you posted any pics of the final results? I haven't seen them if you did.
And make sure you let us know when you plan on starting the kickpanels again.
