MTX Blue thunder vs. Thunder4000 subs
I just got a sale catalog from Crutchfield. The 10" Blue thunders are $60 each and the 4000's are $70 each. I'm stepping up from a 10 year old set of MTX's, so either would be an improvement. I have an Orion Cobalt 230 driving them. Opinions?

Let me clarify my question. Blue Thunders are poly cone while the 4000's are paper composite. Which sounds better, which will last longer?
BLue thunders rule. My friend had 3 in his concorde and they were retardedly loud. They would shake your hair at low volume and the back seat was like having a swedish massus. Seriously they POUND!
I think that you should get the Blue Thunders. They have rubber surrounds and poly cones with I think will prolong the life of the sub. Also they have a 2 year warranty
and power handling is a little higher on the Blue Thunders.
