Question about stock sterio...

Ok, my dad gave me the stock sterio out of his 94-96 Impala to use in my 84 Camaro. It looks like it SHOULD fit. However, the wires coming out of the back of the sterio are not labled, and there is no template on the sterio itself. Does anyone have any idea as to which wire goes to which accessory? Looking at the back of the sterio, on the left is the factory wiring harness. It looks like a black plug on top, and a grey plug on the bottom, kinda hooked togeather and plugged into the back of the sterio. On the right side of the sterio (again, looking from the back) is the antenna jack, and slightly above and to the left of that is an empty space for a plug, which could possibly be for the optional factory cd changer? Anyway, the wires coming out of the plug all the way to the left are, from left to right on top: grey, tan, dark green, light green, black with a white stripe, pale yellow, grey, dark green, pale yellow, and orange. On the bottom, from left to right, is: dark green with a white stripe, light blue, dark blue, pale yellow, and brown. The Black with the whitw stripe, 2nd pale yellow, and orange wires (on the top) are all thicker than the rest of the wires, which leads me to believe that they are ground, acc power, and 12v power.
Also, does the 84 Camaro require a radio harness plug, or is it just loose wires under the dash?
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. And the reason why I am even bothering with this instead of buying an aftermarket head unit is because I am currently unemployed and cannot afford to buy a sterio, and the sterio that is in it now is a P.O.S. Roadmaster from Walmart.

Here's a great site that details a stereo swap:

yeah, yeah I know..I've been misspelling it for years. Thanks for the link, looks like it will work, as soon as I can figure out a way to pull the roadmaster...seems I don't have the little tool required, but I think a really small flathead screwdriver or four will work.
