These good choices?
These good choices?
i'm looking for a stereo and speakers...
these were both recommended to me, but what do you guys think?
http://www.competitionsound.com/dehp630.html for the stereo
and i was thinking cerwin vega ( http://www.competitionsound.com/car-...rwin-vega.html )for the speakers. i don't know which specific ones yet, i have to see what size my speakers are...
Any other suggestions? i'd like to keep the whole set up (stereo, front and rear speakers) under $400, if possible. Definitely not over 500.

That looks like a good choice for the price you want to stay in. I got my setup for about $500
DEH-P7400MP (MP3 player) -- $220
Kenwood 5 1/4" speakers -- $30 (eBay) (I have a convertible)
Alpine 4x6 Plates -- $30 (eBay)
Infinity Basslink 10" Sub -- $215 (ebay).
Doing the math real quick that comes to $495
I wasn't looking for something to rock the neighboors, just something with a clean sound that I could hear going down the road with the top down. I also stayed within my $500 budget.
