Question about TPS....

I have a slight hesitation when I accelerate hard, either from a roll or stand still. I used my scanner to check the voltage of the TPS sensor. The voltage reading I got was .70 volts. Is this acceptable?? Can this be the cause/contribute for my "flat spot?? I am running a 305 LG4 with a mild cam, 206/214, .423/.445. Slp headers, 3" cat and exhaust, and mods to the carb as describe in the tech section of this site. 3.73 gears, shift kitted 700r4. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You're in spec, I beleive, asuming that's an idle speed voltage reading. I would also make sure you have at least 4.5V at WOT. Also, make sure the TPS reading goes up consistently as you apply more throttle. No "blips" to 0 along the way that could confuse the ECM into knocking the ignition timing advance down.

Most Qjet "stumble" problems can be traced to a bad accelerator pump cup (that doesn't seat well and causes a weak pump shot when you "nail it") or MORE LIKELY to an adjustment on the secondary side of the carb. Check out a post I made a few days back about "getting more performance from LG-4 carb." We totally emiminated the "nail it and wait" problem from my brother's LG-4 1985 IROC with a few simple changes to the secondaries.
