Paging Jester
i've read your tech artcile several times on how to make the swap and
there is just one question i have. It says when wiring the distributor there
is a red/pink wire that goes to the connector labeled batt and a black wire
which goes to the one labeled tach. Well i looked at it and there's two sets
of red/pink wires and two sets of white wires coming from the coil and no
black. Im guessing your wire turned black from being dirty and i can't find
a black any where near the coil or distibutor at all there's just red and
white wires. although one red wire comig from the coil is fatter than the
one going to the distributor are those the one's i should hook up or am i not
looking for the right wires. Also should these wires be going back into the
wiring harness cuz the larger red and the white are. Also what color is the
connector that plugs into the coil with the correct wires, the only wires i
could think that would be right are connected to the gray connector and the
black connector just runs from the coil into the back of the distributor.
Help me out please and your instuctions by the way were a TON of help im so
happy i can use a three port regulator instead of having to drop the tank and
mess with a new fuel pump and ****. Thanks, Derek

Yup, just got it, and honestly, I'm not sure. I swapped over a year ago....and I had replaced my coil with an accel (also with only 2 terminals) about 2 years before that.
I think that the 2 red wires are associated with the BATT terminal, and the white ones with the TACH. I'd splice them together, and run them to thier respective terminals.
