Wrong board but i'll answer it anyway. Make sure your airdamn is still there "although my fbird doesent have one and it runs 190degrees constant"
Check your fan or fan clutch to see if its working corectly. If it a fan clutch wiggle the blade back and fourth to see how loose it is if its very east to move you need a new clutch. If its an electric fan you probably know if its working or not by the Whooooo sound it makes in the 220/240 temp area. If its not fan related flush the cooling system out just take the lower radiator hose off and blast the system with water from a garden hose. The fill it up with water only. See if this helps drop the temp a little, water has more cooling properties than antifreze + its much cleaner to replace the thermostate if waters in the system than antifreze, also check to see if it has scale build up in the radiator if so get an approved cleaner for your radiator type. If the water doesent work than replace the thermostate a 180 degree robertshaw works well IMO. Its well worth it to buy a more expensive thermostate, less chance of sticking and a liftime warenty. If it still doesent work replace the water pump.
So dont bother to put antifreze in it until your sure you have the problem solved.
