Holley 750 Double Pumper

Can anyone tell me why it is when I try to free rev my motor the carb has a dead spot (hiccup) in it? It only does it when I try to rev it getting into the pedal all the way. Not when I just tap the throttle. Ive tried different accelerator pump cams, jets, float levels are good...

Probably a badly tuned accelerator pump circit in the secondary side if it only does deep into the pedal.

Also, you didn't say what engine it was on. Might just be too large a carb for the motor, and will always have a bog if you don't ease into the secondaries a bit.
