Edelbrock 1406 on 2.8 V6?

Hey all, I am going to be building up a 2.8 v6 for mild performance and was wondering if an edelbrock 600cfm carb with a 4bbl intake would work on the 2.8 v6 (if properly re-jetted). Is this too much carb or if I lean it out will I be okay?

Carbs

If you really really really must go 4bbl, get the Holley 390cfm 4bbl, a 600 is WAY too much unless you've built the crap out of that motor.
