Crossfire to 350 Carb setup

well i got the motor in and it runs but i have the electronic fuel pump still in the tank and also a mechanical one on the motor. i was under the impression that the electric one was toast because there was no fuel getting to the throttle bodies on the crossfire motor. but when i got the 350 in it starts and runs. i was wondering if it is possible for the mechanical pump to draw through a non-fuctioning in pump tank or if the pump is still working i was wondering if i would still be getting too much fuel pressure to the carb with both pumps in place?

any info would be much appreciated, im trying to get the car road worthy by tomorrow to drive it to work since it is my only mode of transportation

If the pump in the tank was working you would be flooding out. The engine mounted pump is working extra hard to draw fuel but you will be fine if its only for a short while.
You should consider in the "near" future removing the tank and replacing the pump with a good piece of fuel line or a metal tube.

thanks man thats what i wanted to hear, lol. i went ahead and started to proceed with dropping the tank but i didnt have a 21mm wrench and the stores that sell them were all closed by the time i knew i needed one.

looks like im not gonna have it on the road anyway since i cant find any temporary fix for the y-pipe to my headers. i gotta take it to the shop and have them make one.

thanks
