fuel filter question???
I went to change my fuel filter in the carb like it says in the haynes maual and pull off the fuel line and there is no filter. so im like ok now what? I bought my car like a year ago and didn't know. This is the thing though I have an electric fuel pump so is it possible that they took out the the fuel filter in the carb and added a in line fuel so where? cause my car seems to bog and I know the filter has to be changed
any ideas?

Well, in my sertup, the fuel filter is right next to the carb, being an aftermarket setup, I son't have the original parts... If there is a fuel filter in your car you would probably find it somwhere chilling with the other stuff on top of the engine... should be a metal or white plastic cylinder about 2 inches dia. 3 inches long... other than that I would check out fuel lines running to the gas tank, I haven't had a good look at everything under there, but that's where they are on Rx7's... probably not the case for these cars... crazy Japs

ya jack it up start at the tank and follow the lines forward, it should be about 2 feet forward of the tank on the drivers side, with a bracket holding it to the car, metal cylinder with an arrow on it(make sure to get the new filter in the saw direction)
good luck
