Tech article about help with Q-Jet

has anybody tried this with their q-jet? is the difference noticable??? thanks for your help guys!

'87 Sports Coupe, 305 4 bbl, flowmaster exhaust. Other then that just stock (i know its not much but i just got a new job woohoo)

With the exception of the part about getting the AV to open fully (I've never run across a q-jet that needed that mod), everything in there is standard q-jet tuning stuff.

Yes, it makes a noticable difference.

Absolutely. The only thing I can't find is a faster opening secondary vaccuum can. Pissing me off, too.

Hawk- Try the can off an Edlebrock #1910 QJet replacement carb. You'll have to call Edlebrock and figure out how to get one (it's not a tuning part, it's a service replacement part). It has the faster opening rate you are looking for and will bolt right onto the side of any Computer Controlled QJet.

I've been told by Edelbrock they don't sell it separately. Maybe if I pretend to have one that broke, I could get them to sell me one.
