EGR VALVE
EGR VALVE
Ok, Im gonna need a vacuum controlled egr valve to deal with the emissions side ov my computer delete project. Is this a common part that any decent parts store can get me?And are the mounts the same? I will be switching intakes over to a holley 50 state. the carb being used will be a carter afb.

The mounts are the same as the non-CC EGR valves. I have had a '77 Monte Carlo 350, and currently have an '84 full-size van 350, both use the type of EGR valve you're looking for.
And, yes, it is breaking the law, even if you aren't caught...

Well the egr vlave is about 25$ new If you have your old one use it. It wont do anything except possibly please the smog jock visualy. 50 state legal replacements dont always come with provisions for the egr that little provision costs an extra 80$

I found one while looking for something else today. Had it on a '79 Caprice 305 while I had a q-jet on it. Put the 2-bbl back on before I sold the car, the valve is practically new (even has a decent gasket on it).
