Fuel filter??
Who makes a good fuel filter for carbureted engines? I'm using the stock TBI in-tank pump and a mallory 3-port AFPR. My car has sat outside with the engine out and the fuel lines disconnected for over a year. I imagine there will be some rust in the fuel lines, so what do you think would be necessary, i.e. how small of particles in microns should the filter be able to trap? Also, how many gph does it need to flow? I've got the 350 HO w/330hp and 380tq. What do you recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Doesn't really matter. There are a hundred varieties of 3/8" hose barb fitting fuel filters. Pick whichever one suits your fancy.
but yeah..it's alwasy a good idea to stick an extra filter right before the carb.
