VS to DP ?

Is it possible to convert a VS 750 holley to a DP ? If I buy a junk DP 750... can I put all the secondary parts ( linkage, metering block, etc) on the VS carb ? Thanx

p.s. ALso.. is it possible to add a rear metering block and take out the metering plate on my VS 750 ?

Answer to first question: No.

2nd question: There's a 4160 to 4150 conversion kit available. It takes out the metering plate and puts in a metering block with replaceable jets. That's what I did to mine. Makes the carb slightly longer, so if you have a dual feed hard line, you'll need a longer one.

Is it worth anything adding a rear metering block ? Did you notice a difference when you put yours on ? Or is it just one of those mods that you did just to say you did it ? lol...

The metering block allows you to tune by changing jets, that's all.

I converted mine before it ever got wet, so I can't give you before & after comparisons.
