Demons

Has anybody used one of the new Demon carbs? I was thinking of buying one of the Road Demons, or a Speed Demon. I don't race or anything, I just think they're cool. My engine is a 350 with Vortec heads, and a 270/280* cam. I have a Holley 600 single feed now, and it idles ok... I have trans problems, and haven't been able to drive it yet.

Got a Speed Demon 750 on my car with mechanical secondaries.Easy to tune, better looking than most other carbs, and they are high quality.I recommend a Demon but that is just my opinion. For your application i would recommend you get vacuum secondaries if you are auto.

The general consensus I've gathered seems to be that Demons are the exact same as a Holley..only prettier. If thats what you want rather than a holley is just a matter of taste.

But yeah..they do look cool.

I would go with a Holley instead of a demon. Around here (west Texas ) the parts stores don't carry demons or demon parts so If you go with a demon make sure availability is a plenty.

I only live about 40 miles from where they make the carbs, and I would like to go to their store when (if) I buy it, and I'd get an assortment of things I may need, jets and such. I already have the Holley, though, so I may just dream about it. Thanks for the input, all!
